Electrical security

Installing earthing = security!

The aim of earthing is to divert uncontrolled current into the ground. In the absence of efficient earthing, all or part of the uncontrolled current would pass through the person in contact with the defective apparatus, which can be fatal.

During the pre-installation examination, GDK measures the dispersal resistance of the earth electrodes or earth loop. This resistance cannot exceed 30 Ω or, where complementary measures are in place, 100 Ω.
